The refer-a-friend program – called “Listen for free” in our mobile apps side menu -- gives you the power to get rewarded for sharing Rhapsody with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, email, or text. If you're an active customer (in trial or an active subscriber), tap "Listen for free" in the app to invite friends to join Rhapsody with a 30-day trial. If any of the people you invite become a paying Rhapsody subscriber, you get one FREE month of Rhapsody service - for each and every person who becomes a paying subscriber. See FAQs for more info.

If your friend came to Rhapsody from a source other than the link you shared with them, or if they signed up directly with Rhapsody, or if they were already a Rhapsody user, then you won't receive a credit.
