The refer-a-friend program – called “Get Free Music” in our mobile apps side menu -- gives you the power to get rewarded for sharing Rhapsody with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, email, or text. If you're an active customer (in trial or an active subscriber), tap "Get Free Music" in the app to invite friends to join Rhapsody with a 30-day trial. If any of the people you invite become a paying Rhapsody subscriber, you get one FREE month of Rhapsody service - for each and every person who becomes a paying subscriber. See FAQs for more info.
You can invite friends via Facebook, Twitter, email, and text.
1. When will I get a free month of Rhapsody service?
If you're a Rhapsody user - either in a trial or paying - and you refer someone, we will add a free month to your account when the person you invited becomes a paying subscriber (the first time they're billed).
2. Are there any eligibility criteria?
Yes - you will not be eligible for the credit if the inviter is on a “No Credit Card” account like certain coupon codes or any partner account such as T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Eplus , Movistar and so on.
3. Why can't I find “Get Free Music” in my mobile app’s menu?
If you're on a “No Credit Card” account like certain coupon codes or any partner account such as T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Eplus , Movistar and so on, the “Get Free Music” option won’t display in the side menu in our mobile apps.
4. Why haven’t I gotten a credit?
In order for you to get a credit, a few things have to happen:
If your friend came to Rhapsody from a source other than the link you shared with them, or if they signed up directly with Rhapsody, or if they were already a Rhapsody user, then you won't receive a credit.
5. Is “Refer A Friend” available for Android and iOS?
