AUTO MODE user guide for Android

Summary:

AUTO is a simplified experience to allow you to get the most from Rhapsody while on the go. Have a quick access to your favorite music with a specially designed experience for when you’re on the go. Bookmark playlists and albums for AUTO.  AUTO works with AUX & Bluetooth connections.

How to access AUTO?

  1. Launch Rhapsody application
  2. Swipe the screen from left to right or tap on the menu button
  3. Tap on Auto
  4. Accept the Usage Disclaimer

The Main Interface will contain:

  1. Exit AUTO
  2. Now Playing
  3. Recently Played
  4. Saved playlists and albums
  5. Favorite Tracks
  6. Top monthly track charts
  7. Top tracks from the user’s favorite genre
  8. Suggested playlist

How to add albums and playlists to AUTO?

  1. Launch Rhapsody application
  2. Tap on View My Music or Swipe the screen from left to right or tap on the menu button and select My Music
  3. Tap on Playlists or Albums from My Music menu
  4. Tap on a playlist or an album
  5. Tap on the more options button
  6. Tap on Add to AUTO

The player Interface will contain:

  1. Exit Player Interface
  2. Previous Track
  3. Play/Pause
  4. Next Track
  5. Album/Track Info
  6. Add to favorite tracks
  7. Shuffle
  8. Start a track based station

How to remove music added to AUTO?

  1. Launch Rhapsody application
  2. Swipe the screen from left to right or tap on the menu button
  3. Tap on Settings from the menu
  4. Tap on Edit Music Added to AUTO
  5. Tap on black X button to remove music

How to enable or disable Auto-Download Music added to AUTO?

  1. Launch Rhapsody application
  2. Swipe the screen from left to right or tap on the menu button
  3. Tap on Settings from the menu
  4. Uncheck the box next to Auto-Download Music.

 

FAQ’S:

Q1: Is CAR mode limited to Android phone in 5.2 or will Android Tablet be supported as well?

  • Answer: It should work on both but only portrait mode supported

Q2: Is there a limit to QUICK PLAY/Bookmarks module items number?

  • Answer: No

Q3: Is there any option available to disable AUTO?

  • Answer: No

Q4: Why some options are greyed out in offline mode?

  • You might not have downloaded any songs from that part

Q5: Will this mode works with unRadio subscription?

  • Answer: No. Premier and higher

Q6: Can I add am individual track to AUTO?

  • Only Albums & Playlists can be added

Q7: Does playback continue when switching in and out of Car mode?

  • Answer: No

Q8: Is there a way to disable Usage Disclaimer?

  • The legal prompt must be displayed every time the mode is entered

Q9: How many recently played items will be displayed?

  • 10 items
